2012 Eight Day Trip | Day 0: Arriving in Bangkok

It was exactly a year ago when we booked flight tickets to 3 countries, all because of Air Asia's Big Sale. It costs us Php 4,950.00 for tickets Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok-Saigon-Kuala Lumpur-Singapore. And another Php 5,000 for tickets Clark-Bangkok, Singapore-Clark. We had to eliminate KL as we have been there and really there's not much to see.

It's my sister's first trip out of the country. She's excited to have her passport stamped. She also made it through immigration easy. All she has to say is "I'm traveling with my sister". Good job!

We arrived very early at Clark Airport. It just took us 1 1/2 hours to get there from Manila. SCTEX rocks!

Cebu Pacific was on time. We left Clark around 8:45PM. And after the 4 hour flight ,we finally landed in Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

And yeah Jeai, it's endless indeed. Let's save up save up save up!!!

Remember this picture. I can still carry my most loved bag, which I bought for my very first out of town trip. It's still alive up to now. Hihi.

Oh yeah, let's shop. Though, we have to get some sleep first.

Clearing immigration was easy and fast. The immigration officer greeted us with a welcoming smile, which was unusual and unexpected. They usually sport a poker face. Thailand is indeed "the land of smiles".

I booked our Bangkok package tour through my travel partner in Thailand. One of the reason I went to this trip is to try their services first hand. Customer satisfaction is critical to the business I ventured in. So it's better that I already experienced before I offer and sell it to my clients. So far, my Bangkok package if not exceptional, met my expectations.

Our tour coordinator was already outside the airport waiting and showing the paper with our name on it. We were ushered to our hotel service. Travel to our hotel in Pratunam took almost an hour.

I didn't bother to take a picture of the hotel's exterior as it is under renovation. It should be done by end of June. But I did bother to take a picture of my fresh face, because it's a lot different after the end of the trip. Lols.

3 comfy beds for 3 totally tired travelers. Goodnight Bangkok. See you tmw!
