60-Min Massage & Salt Scrub at Fitness First Spa SM North Edsa

I've been working almost 12 hours a day for a week now to cover all my email backlogs and peak season inquiries. I took a week off last week for a business/leisure travel in Coron, thus the backlogs. And backlogs means stress due to long hours working and sitting in front of the computer.

It was just a heavenly thing that I came to realize I still have an unused Deal Grocer voucher for a spa time at Fitness First North Edsa. It was great to know that my realization came just before it expires.

I came 30 minutes early from my scheduled appointment. While the masseuse gets ready my room, she ushered me to this beautiful corner to wait.

While waiting, I decided to snap more pictures.

I forgot to ask if this was just a waiting area, or this corner has it's own function as well, like foot massage area maybe.

I didn't wait long. My assigned masseuse guided me to my room.

The room was dark when I stepped inside. It was eerie that I decided to adjust the lighting.

She gave me a couple of minutes to get ready so I took the liberty to snap more pictures. They have shelves where you can put your things on (or just put it under your bed to be safe).

Towels, hangers, bath robes, slippers and tea are provided.

The deal I got was for a 30 minute salt scrub and 60 minute massage. It is priced at Php 750 and got it for only Php 499 via Deal Grocer.

Overall, I was satisfied with the treatment and the service I got. The masseuse was polite and the whole process helped me get rid of the stress that piled up. I also loved the fruity tea offered right after the treatment. It's one of the best tea I've tasted so far that I asked for a complimentary. ^_^

BDJ Fair 2013 Experience | #MakeItHappen

I said to myself. I cannot miss this year's Belle de Jour fair. And the annual fair just happened. And we were there. Yihee!

There were a lot of peeps who came to the event. We had to endure the long queue so we can get our VIP passes. It sucks as falling in line ate up most of our time. Also, we figured having pre-registered does not entitle you to anything at all. Loot bags are given to those who pay for the VIP passes which walk-ins can get too. I just wished next year's event would be much more organized than this one. That was just my one rant though. Setting that aside, we had a total blast. Oh yeah, much more fun if we didn't have to leave until 3PM. We had an important event at church that we had to leave early.

We came around 11am and we surely maximized our short time there. Let me show you some of the booths we checked out.

Subic Grand Seas. Sadly, I got the better luck this time.

BDJ Fair Activity Area.

Later that day, Sharpie held their design your shoe activity.

These peeps participated in the Scavenger hunt game.

There were guards and volunteers maintaining the safety and to keep the area organized. Forget about my sisters. Lol.

The 2014 BDJ Planner is at 20% discount that day. I came to collect my win from the Facebook #MakeItHappen promo. Yep, I won a BDJ Planner 2014 which I sold to my sister haha. (at a discounted price of course). I had one customized but it was not available at the fair yet. They will have it shipped instead.

Goody is always present and gives you a free item when you register at their booth. Some items are on sale too.

The Ramp Crossings has a raffle wherein you have to guess how much the mannequin's outfit cost. Too bad I forgot to take a snapshot of the outfits.

Browhaus offers free lip threading.

I didn't get to visit the Flipster's booth so I don't know what they were offering. Haha. I just took a snap.

SM Parisian has the longest queue and probably one of the most fun booth. Why? Well they were giving away bags and shoes. You just have to like their Facebook page and you get to pick from their bowl and see what prize you get or better luck next time. Oh, I won a pair pf shoes. Only it's size 10!

One of the perks of getting VIP Pass is a free coffee or tea by CBTL.

Yves Roche (pronounced as "eev roshey") generously gave out samples at the event. They offer free makeover too.

You get to try on hair extensions at Tokyo Posh booth.

Canmake, a japanese cosmetic brand, offers free makeovers.

You get to play puppy pachinko after a minimum purchase of Php 200 at Pet Express.

Sorci-age have photobooth to take home that Instagram photo.

Mister Donut gave out free snacks, which we weren't able to get. Lols. The staffs were on lunch break when we passed by the booth.

The popular DC booth is a hit amongst the crowd. You have to shoot one ball in each shoe to get a free pair of DC shoes.

Physiogel and GSK are participating booths as well.

And the one we enjoyed most is the "Get Fit and Be Empowered" talk by fitness guru Jill Ngo.

Everybody were game at the dance exercises.

And before we left, Jill gave us 6 positive mantras to live by. Well, to sum it all up, it's just as simple as "Live and Love your Life".

Until next year BDJ. #MakeItHappen

My sisters enjoyed all the BDJ events this year. Looking forward for more events like this next year. #MakeItHappen

Unboxing October 2013 BDJ Box

My October box came just a day after atending the BDJ Fair 2013. We totally had a blast at the fair. Sadly we need to go home by 3PM as we still have to go to church. I will be blogging separately on that fair experience.

Going back to the unboxing. I was totally rooting for some Colour Collection items but this box is all about Maybelline. I'm not sure how many different boxes are there but mine's "Scene Stealer".

Other boxes I saw in Instagram are "Femme Fatale", "Queen of Extreme", "Wild Thing" and "Runway Rock".

Though I already own the same kind of lip balm and bb stick, I still appreciate this Maybelline box. Looking at the other unboxing photos in facebook and social media just made me wish I could have gotten a different one, especially the box with lipstick. But also fortunate the box I got suits my skin color. I read somewhere that some girl received shades that don't match her skin tone. Aw too bad!

So let's now see what inside my Maybelline Scene Stealer box.

I got 6 full sized items. The photo above shows their retail prices.

I also got a lifestyle / loyalty card. Not only that, there's a voucher that entitles you for free gift at a minimum purchase of Php 250. Sweet!

One thing I love about Maybelline. It's inexpensive!

You want a scene stealer look? Fret not!
Check below.

Kudos to the BDJ team for bringing this beauty box concept to every Filipinas. I've been a loyal subscriber for a year already and I've really grown my make up kit and toilertry kit to a number. I have also made aware of my skin tone, my kind of make up and a lot of things to know about beauty.

The October box is my last box for this year. Sadly, I wasn't able to reserve for both November and December as it has been sold out already.

Til next year for unboxing!

BDJ Fair 2013: #MakeItHappen as BDJ celebrates their 8th year!

I own 6 Belle de Jour planners. Yeah, i missed the first one. Certainly I am a BDJ Veteran. And I cannot miss this special event happening next Sunday, October 13 at the SM MOA Music Hall. You should not miss it too!

2014 BDJ theme #MakeItHappen is just right for a goal setter and go-getter girl like me. If there is one thing I really want to #MakeItHappen next year, I guess it would be fly to London (now that Philippine Airlines offering an introductory fare and direct flight to good 'ol London) and join a group tour with bunch of good looking tourists and maybe, well just maybe, I get to meet my English future husband looking perfectly gorgeous and just right for me. Not kidding. It'll be a wildest dream that's gonna happen to a positive thinker bella. L-O-L.

Aside from that, I am gonna #MakeItHappen an expansion of my online and homebased travel agency. I am thinking of renovation and staffs!

Giggles! I am also looking forward to yet again be inspired with the talks me and my sisters pre-registered.

We successfully registered to the BDJ Talks below:

I am excited to attend the "Get Fit and Be Empowered" talk with Ms. Jill Ngo because she's just a fitness inspiration. She dances with so much passion and grace. We were once her Zumba students at Gold's Gym Timog and I can really attest how good of a instructor she is and there's just so much dedication and I want to hear how she does it.

Met and heard Erica Paredes last time I attended a BDJ Box event held in Eastwood and I immediately loved her. That's why I'm really excited to hear her talk again. I mean she's got tons of tattoos for a small skinny girl like her but she's got the confidence that made her really stand out. I have one medium sized pretty looking mermaid tattoo hiding in my t-shirt and I just got to have that confidence to wear a crop top and be okay with everyone staring at it. I got to have that feel, being confident with my body. Also, I would love to hear from beauty expert Jigs Mayuga. I've seen his pictures a lot in Instagram with well known celebrities in different magazine covers and now that I've come to love make-up (thanks to BDJ box), I got to learn some beauty techniques from him.

Pre-registration for the talks is not over yet. Go ahead and pick your top 3 choices. To register, email your name, mobile number and top three (3) talk choices to maf@belledejourpowerplanner.com with the subject “BDJFair2013:Make it Happen”

See you there bellas! In behalf of the whole Belle de Jour Power Planner and BDJ Box Team, I am inviting all of you to check out the fab and posh beauty fair in the Metro.

"Inviting all of you to the BDJ Fair 2013 : #MakeitHappen on Oct 13 (Sunday) at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. Entrance is absolutely FREE, walk-ins welcome. But pre-registered girls have special perks! Visit fb.com/belledejourplanner and ilovebdj.com
